Client - Barhale

Centregreat Rail contracted as M&E and Telecoms Contractor for Barhale on their Axminster Station Project. This included the provision and installation of new CCTV, PA, and CIS new platform and footbridge lighting installations and the installation of new electrical supplies. Working to a very tight programme the scheme was successfully delivered and handed over in time for the new train timetable to operate in early December 2009. Centregreat Rail assisted Barhale who were afforded less than six months contract period for design, construction, mplementation, commissioning and handover of the works.

In 2009 TST now Centregreat Rail embarked upon the first tranche of Arriva Trains Wales NSIP Project. Working to Network Rail’s primary objective of bringing about a noticeable and lasting improvement in the environment at stations for the benefit of passengers and leading to an improvement in the passenger and public perception of the chosen stations
The projects called for new CIS screens CCTV help points and platform lighting at various stations for which Centregreat Rail completed the first tranche on time and to budget with little disruption to the platform personnel or public.
